VibeLin is a conversation-focused language learning app that helps you create an immersive language environment through real-time conversation generation and text-to-speech functionality. This policy clearly explains how we process, use, and protect your data. We operate on principles of minimization and anonymization, collecting only the minimal information necessary to maintain our service.

Data We Don't Collect

• We do not collect conversation content you input or generate within the app
• We do not create personalized behavioral analysis profiles
• We do not independently transmit or backup your practice content to our servers

Data Types We May Process

For normal app operation and abuse prevention, we may only process the following types (all without content itself):

• API usage statistics (e.g., conversation generation requests, TTS requests)
• Request timestamps (used only for throttling and operational monitoring)
• Anonymized technical identifiers (e.g., randomly generated device or user hash codes to distinguish sources and prevent abuse)

The above data does not include your input or generated language content, nor will it be used to infer your personal identity.

Data Sources and Transmission

• Text you input locally on your device is sent directly to OpenAI (or their backend API providers) through programming to generate responses or speech.
• We do not relay or store this content; transmission follows the encryption mechanisms of third-party APIs.
• Your device may temporarily cache conversations or audio files for later review or playback (stored in your device and system sandbox).

Third-Party Services

VibeLin uses third-party AI services (such as OpenAI API) to provide text generation and text-to-speech functionality. Please also refer to these service providers' privacy policies to understand how they process content you submit. VibeLin is not responsible for third-party services' data processing behaviors, but we adopt a minimization transmission strategy: sending only the text you input in real-time when functionally required.

API Usage Logging

When you use our free API service quotas (such as using built-in keys or shared trial plans), we record the following to prevent abuse and ensure fair use:

• Request count and type (conversation / speech)
• Timestamps and anonymous user identifiers
• Error codes (if occurred)

We do not store your input text, generated content, or speech content. This usage data is always anonymized and used only for:

• Preventing automated abuse/attacks
• Adjusting fair use quotas
• Service performance monitoring (e.g., latency, error rates)

Data Retention Period

• Anonymous API usage logs: Retained only during operational and abuse prevention needs, aggregated or deleted periodically after achieving objectives.
• Local conversation or audio files: Retained on your device, you can delete the app or clear within the app at any time (if such features are provided).

Security Measures

Since we do not centrally store your content, risks are significantly reduced. We still recommend you:

• Keep your device system updated
• Set up secure unlock methods
• Avoid entering sensitive information in public environments

Your Rights

• You can remove all local data on your device by deleting the app.
• If we provide "clear practice records" functionality in the future, you can execute directly within the app.
• Since we only store anonymous usage data, we cannot trace back or provide individual content queries.

Children and Teens

This app is not specifically designed for children under 13, nor does it actively identify or collect children's personal information. If parents or guardians have concerns, please contact us.

Policy Updates

We may update this policy due to feature adjustments or regulatory changes. Major updates will be prompted within the app or marked in release notes when publishing updates. Revised policies take effect from the publication date.
